CET focuses on Social Cognition (The ability to act wisely)
Impairments to brain function such as Attention, Memory and Problem can seriously affect social cognition (e.g. Being able to take others’ perspectives, Cognitive Flexibility, Getting the Gist)
CET consists of 48, once-a-week sessions (Attendance rates average 90% at all sites; graduation rates average 85%)

Individual ‘coaching’ once a week
What makes CET unique?
- Staff are referred to as coaches.
- Coaches give group members problems (both intellectual and emotional) to solve.
- Highly structured group.
- Specific topic each week and group members are expected to stick to this topic.
