 Training for CET

How to set up a CET Program:
Because of the complexities and truly transformative nature of CET, the best way to learn CET is by having a Certified Master CET Coach co-lead CET groups with you for the first cycle of your CET program. Please see FAQ page, training questions for details.

The physical space, equipment and software requirements for CET are fairly minimal. As in any social service endeavor, the biggest cost is in staff time. Recognizing this, the CCR is prepared to help with:

  • Educating potential stake holders by offering workshop(s) on CET (possibly offer CEU’s). We have found that this is a successful method to inform clients, funders, staff and the public about effectiveness of CET.
  • Writing funding grants for training costs including funding for staff to be trained. We have prototypes of grants available and will assistance in the writing of grants.
  • Assistance in working with insurance providers including Medicaid. CET programs have been successful in billing to Medicaid, Medicare and other third parties for CET programs.
  • Assistance in selecting CET Coaches and clients
  • Assistance in selecting a CET Champion to facilitate the establishment of a CET Program
  • Assistance in identifying other organizations in your geographic area with whom you may be able to partner to establish a CET program.

To discuss establishing a CET Program at your organization, please call Ray Gonzalez, ACSW, Executive Director of the Center for Cognition and Recovery at 216-504-6428.
